Dear Kathy,
We are Kendall and Riley Binfet, seniors in The Honors College studying Exercise Science. Riley is intending to pursue physical therapy, and Kendall is working to become an occupational therapist. We are hoping to own a practice together and aid the community with the many skills we have learned at Oakland University and beyond. We have had the opportunity to become heavily involved on and off campus, from joining clubs that align with our interests to leading a research study looking at how karate classes affect the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.
Because of you, these things have been made possible. As we are both nearing the end of our undergraduate careers, we have become appreciative and grateful for the financial contributions of donors like you. From your support, we are able to succeed and move forward with our aspirations without financial worry, which is the greatest gift a student can receive. Because of your generosity, not just us, but future innovators will have the same opportunities to shine, grow, and prosper here at Oakland University.
