Troy, Michigan – Nanette M. Rose, Senior Marketing Specialist at Testing Engineers & Consultants, Inc. (TEC), was recently named to the Southeast Michigan Society for Health Care Engineering (SMSHE) Board of Directors and was honored with the 2011 President’s Award for exceptional dedication and contributions to the organization.
Rose has been a member of SMSHE since 2008, and Chairs the Communications/Marketing Committee. SMSHE, the local chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), was formed in the 1970’s and after incorporating as a 501(c)(6) non-profit, SMSHE re-organized as an independent ASHE Affiliated Chapter in 2010. SMSHE, an organization for health care facility engineers, is dedicated to improving the communication, education and overall integrity of the healthcare industry.
Ms. Rose credits her 20+ years of experience as a marketing professional in the engineering consulting field and former 12 year history as a medical professional for her success as a dedicated member of SMSHE. She has been a devoted member in good standing with SMSHE, as well as several other professional organizations including the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), the Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD), and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPSMichigan) where she is a former Board member and Programs Committee Chair.

As a woman-owned firm, TEC provides professional engineering consulting services in the environmental, geotechnical, facilities engineering, and construction materials testing and inspection disciplines.
