TEC is pleased to welcome Michael Jazdzyk, RRC, RRO, as Manager of Roofing and Building Enclosure within our Engineering Services Division. Mike brings extensive experience in roofing, waterproofing, and building enclosure consulting, having successfully delivered complex new construction and remedial projects for clients throughout the United States.
Mike’s expertise encompasses all aspects of building enclosure consulting, including roofing and waterproofing systems, constructability analysis, plan and specification review, forensic investigations, quality assurance, field coordination, and enclosure commissioning support. Throughout his career, he has worked on a diverse portfolio of high-profile hospitality, gaming, military, institutional, mixed-use, commercial, and high-rise developments.
Among his notable project experience are major building enclosure and waterproofing assignments for Choctaw Casino & Resort in Oklahoma, Omni PGA Frisco Resort in Texas, Tinker Air Force Base, and numerous historic rehabilitation and renovation projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. His technical expertise includes below-grade waterproofing, roofing systems, expansion joint coordination, plaza and terrace waterproofing, and construction sequencing designed to achieve long-term weather-tight building performance.
Mike is recognized for his collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to project delivery. He routinely leads Building Enclosure Review Meetings (BERMs), coordinating closely with owners, architects, contractors, and specialty trades to verify the continuity of critical building enclosure systems and maintain quality throughout every phase of construction.
He holds several respected industry credentials, including Registered Roofing Consultant (RRC) and Registered Roofing Observer (RRO) designations. Mike is also a Certified Waterproofing Inspector through CETCO, AVM, and Polyglass, and has completed PREPRUFE® Training Certification through GCP Applied Technologies.
An active member of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC), Mike remains engaged with emerging technologies, evolving industry standards, and best practices in roofing and building enclosure design and construction.
