Troy, Michigan – Team TEC was the top corporate fundraiser for the fundraising event entitled Walk on Common Ground held at the beautiful campus of Oakland University (OU) in Rochester, Michigan. Common Ground, a nonprofit agency dedicated to helping youths, adults and families in crisis, is TEC’s Charity of Focus.
TEC staff members were joined by friends and family on the four-mile walk across the rolling hills of the OU campus. Altogether, Team TEC raised $1,470 for a very worthy cause and exceeded their fund raising goal by almost 50%! TEC became the leading corporate fundraiser thanks to individual donors and a generous corporate match that put us over the top. The first annual Walk on Common Ground has raised a total of $38,128 to date, and we look forward to an even more successful walk in 2010!
